Deer hunt 9/19

I finally got to go Saturday morning and did not see anything either. It has been very warm this weekend. We have a ton of sign and plenty of deer on trail can pics, but almost all of them are night pics. It is supposed to rain some this week and cool things off again. I hope so.

Saw 6 deer last evening and heard a bunch more.
Unfortunately they were too far to get a shot on them and there was very little light left.
I ended up moving my ladder closer to that spot today about 40 yards away from where they crossed the creek.
I used some tree branches to conceal my ladder better.

Hope to get one tonight.
I should have no problem if they came through like they did last night.
The day before I had my sights on a large doe but I didn't shoot because I saw a tiny fawn appear literally as I was putting pressure on the trigger.
Then this morning I heard a deer blowing in the woods behind my house so I ran down there in the woods to play.
It blew at me , ran off then came back but stayed hidden until it got frustrated and started blowing like a steam train through the woods as it ran off.
Been a good week for sightings but haven't been able to make anything stick yet.

I didnt see squat tonight, soon enough I'll have the freezer full though!

Night....total opposite of previous night.
I agree on colder weather.... I was wishing it was 10 deg cooler last evening.

Anybody on stand this evening? Just seen two does slightly out of range, although closest I've been to a deer so far this season! 60 yards
