10/1 @ 9:00 AM: Intro to Defensive Pistol
5 hours of instruction on the fundamentals of shooting, working from the holster, and weapon manipulations. This is an intermediate or better level class.
10/1 @ 2:00 PM: Low Light Pistol Skills
This is an 8 hour class that will address the use of a pistol in low / no light situations. The range is outdoors and there will be no moon or ambient light. Students will use handheld and weapon-mounted lights to solve shooting problems and engage targets at a variety of distances. The class will be split between flat range work as a group and individual performance exercises to include a room clearing exercise. Students who attend the training will receive a coupon, good for 40% off a one-time purchase from the SureFire website with a total purchase amount of $1,200.
10/2 @ 9:00 AM: Shotgun Skills for Home Defense
This is a 5 hour class that will focus on using the shotgun for home defense. Care and maintenance, loading / unloading / reloading, patterning the firearm with slugs and buckshot, and individual performance evaluations on reactive steel targets will be used to gauge knowledge of the content at the end of the class. Shotguns are available for use.
