Dekalb county may very well be trading their current guns for Glocks. They may even be trading in other weapons from their evidence room. Whatever they are doing, Glock is not "giving" them guns. If you trade a gun or something of value for a gun, are you getting anything free?I stand corrected. Dekalb County is buying the Glocks I made the mistake of relying on a news report.
oh well.
That is hilarious. Most of the time I carry a .357, a round of which is about twice a 9mm, because it's more than twice as effective.

The only way you're gonna get a one shot stop is a hit to the central nervous system. A hit to the central nervous system with any caliber will net the same result. Besides that it will likely take several shots to stop a determined attacker. What you're essentially doing is creating massive blood loss with those shots. A 45caliber hole isn't going to leak much faster than a 9mm hole. Also you're 9mm shots will be faster and more accurate. In many cases a 9mm also penetrates deeper than the old fart slower 45acp. You'll also have more ammo to create faster well placed shots from a 9mm. But as you can see above the quarter is the ultimate defensive pistol caliber.
I'll 'sale' you a pocketful...low price of 50 cents per round.In for $0.25 cal!
If I blow a hole in your head are you really going to care how big it is......somebody once said. Should have been Dirty Harry but don't think it was.
