DeKalb Police Outdoor Firing Range

Is this place still open to the public? What are the rules and regulations when you're shooting at this range? Is it free? I'm gonna try to call the them up on Monday. However, I was just wondering if you guys have any info about this place.

Used to go there. I too have heard that they are no longer open to public, but I urge you to follow up and verify. I am no longer anywhere near there.

On the Barrow County Sheriffs Office web site it says it reopened on March 5. http://barrowsheriff.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=53&Itemid=68

They're still open, but the schedule is bizarre; something like every third thursday from 1:34 - 5:13. And they don't allow handguns.

Why not just pay $10 and go to an indoor
