I wonder how a grinding disk on a dremmel would do .

How a gunsmith would do it and I've looked at mine. It doesn't seem like it would be hard with the right tools. Slow and steady..

It would work. Just take your time. Place a couple layers of tape around where you are cutting in case you you dremmel gets a away from you. I'd take it down most of the way and then finish with a finer grit. Put some perma blue on the raw metal so you don't have to ever worry about rust.

Shield Arms mag release? Are you running the s15s? Very curious on first hand thoughts if so.

Yes and Yes. I have put hundreds of rounds through my S15 mags with no issues regardless of what that ass on YouTube says about them.

I've heard as long as those mag releases are metal, they run strong.

I run the S15s as well. I did have a problem with my mags not locking my slide back when there was no ammo in them. I just took the base plate off and stretched the spring and they're good now. I wonder if its an issue with the early models?... I've shot hundreds of rounds through my mags since and they have been reliable imo.
