All of us here know that Jamie should not have survived a close range gunshot to the face. Even his doctors have said that it was act of God that saved Jamie. He was moved from the ICU last night and is in good spirits, but he has a long, difficult road to recovery and a very uncertain future with his injuries.
Jamie and his wife, Tami, are dedicated public servants. She is a full time paramedic, Jamie has served as a fire fighter, paramedic, and now as a deputy. My wife worked with Jamie for 2 years as his squad mate, as any of you who have served know, a strong bond and love for each other is formed when you share the daily trauma, risk, and stress that comes with a public safety job. We are fortunate to count him and his family as friends.
Jamie is a father, a husband, son, deputy, and friend. His family needs our help and support now. He has stood in the gap for us, voluntarily, for many years. Now is our time to stand for him.
A GoFundMe account has been started @ https://www.gofundme.com/273rymc
Please, visit it, leave a donation and comment for Jamie. Everything raised is for his family, they are the only ones with access to the account. Tami can't work and take care of Jamie, they have kids, a mortgage, and groceries to pay for and we can, together, eliminate that stress so the focus can be on Jamie and his recovery.
Feel free to share the GoFundMe link!!!
