Determining how long I’ve been on ODT by the reposts of the same item.

Okay semi long story here. I had two budget type AR pistols back during Covid that I posted up for trade. Some guy around Atlanta wanted both. He offered a nice clean SKS and a Gen 4 G17 that was new in box. I actually sent my landlord to meet him since he had to head up yonder anyway. I got the guns in hand and liked both. Thought everything was good to go.
Same night the guy calls me and said the side charging pistol wouldn't function. Okay so now I'm bothered to say the least. Hey, my ODT rating is WAY better than my credit score and gonna stay that way. He said he'd had a side charger before and it wouldn't run right. "Well damn, why did you want this one?" Turns out he wanted to trade back for the G17. I could hear his ol lady in the background bitching at him. So I told him I would trade back since I had not previously tried the side charger out and wasn't about to stick nobody with defective ****. HOWEVER...he was gonna make the drive all the way to Perry to undo said deal. Next morning his wife was in the Perry Walmart parking lot waiting on me. Didn't say **** just exchanged guns.
The next day was Sunday and my Mom still lived down in farm country Dooly Co. So we loaded up and headed down there with the supposedly defective side charger. I had my daughter recording it with my phone. I loaded a mag and ripped through about 10 rounds in a hurry. Then I sent him the video. He acted all shocked and asked what I did to "Fix it" . I told him I put a loaded mag in it and shot it and not to be pussy all his life. Then I told him if his ol lady was breaking his balls about the trade just ****in say so. No need to make **** up.
holy sheet, i asked chatgpt to summarize this, here it is:

Here's a summary of the story:

The speaker traded two budget AR pistols during COVID for an SKS and a Gen 4 Glock 17 with a man from Atlanta. The trade was handled by the speaker's landlord. Later that night, the buyer complained one of the ARs (a side charger) didn’t work and asked to trade back, seemingly pressured by his wife. The speaker agreed, but required the buyer to make the trip to Perry for the return. The buyer’s wife showed up and exchanged the guns without a word. The next day, the speaker tested the side charger, found it worked fine, and sent the video as proof. He told the buyer the gun was fine and suspected the real issue was the buyer’s wife disapproving of the trade.

That's pretty much as long as the original... here's what Gemini summarized from your ChatGPT summary:

During COVID, the speaker traded two budget AR pistols for an SKS and a Gen 4 Glock 17 with a man from Atlanta, a transaction facilitated by the speaker's landlord. The buyer later claimed one of the ARs was faulty and requested to trade back, seemingly due to pressure from his wife. The speaker agreed but insisted the buyer travel to Perry for the exchange. The buyer's wife handled the return without speaking. The speaker then confirmed the AR was functional and concluded the buyer's wife likely disapproved of the original trade.

Well yeah I guess that's the generic boring plain vanilla version.

Been off the ODTeet for the most part since January so I apologize if I got my rant day mixed up.

I find it amusing that there are some items that have been relisted so many times, you can literally use them to count the age of your own account, like rings on a tree.

Same goes for those items that are bought/traded and immediately posted again…..and again…..and again. Kind of fun watching some of your old property make the rounds.
