This was all just an exercise to see how the public would react and to find those in our armed forces who are too stupid to know what they defend. It's good to know about half didn't participate but when this really goes down it's going to be foreign troops as well. NATO forces. They'll make examples of our armed forces who don't want to participate so the rest fall in line. And they'll sell it on being a patriotic American and most will be none the wiser. And to all you people saying you'll put up a fight...sure. When the DHS/military is rushing your house at 3am you're not going to know what's going on; they will. You're also dealing with ruthless people who won't think twice about shooting someone dead. It's one thing to be a good shot but how many of you think you're actually gonna pull the trigger on armed forces with your wife/kids around? Why do you think the rabbis and synagogues in Nazi Germany were handing over their lists of members to the Nazis? It's because when this happens all you people are going to be thinking about is keeping yourself alive because you're not gonna want to die.

I can't believe you all didn't see this!!! They tackled and punched this poor old woman because she had a small revolver for her own protection.

I've been using this as an example since it happened. I don't how many discussions, many right here on the ODT I've been in where people say "That can never happen here". I remember watching these reports on the news at the time they happened....notice how the news reports never mentioned people's rights to keep and bear arms and most of the reports spun this as "a difficult job for the troops and law enforcement". No body ever talked about leaving people without a way to defend themselves.
As far a Georgia specific law, if a national emergency is declared or "martial law" FEMA (as it is written now) will be in charge of the country, lock stock and barrel; so the Georgia law will not be worth the time it took to pass it when that happens.
I'll bet many of you also missed the revised executive order that was just revamped and signed by the pres that gives the feds the authority to enter your home and confiscate any food, weapons, or anything else you own for the "common good" of the people in a national crisis.

Iirc 4 were convicted. I went to the academy with one of the guys and I can tell you he was a victim of circumstance. There are bad eggs there but when people choose to believe hype over people that were there I lose respect instantly for their lack of logic and common sense.
That's why I would rather buy used from a second party(non dealer). Love Ga gun laws in that aspect.
