Dies for loading ptr 308

I am pretty sure santa is going to be bringing me a PTR91 308 and I was wondering if I need the RCBS short base dies or can I get away with standard dies?

I think you mean "small base dies". I prefer "small base dies" when loading for semi auto rifles.

A PTR is hell on brass, don't expect to many reloads out of the brass.

Yeah I meant small base I always get short/small mixed up dunno why lol...thanks for the input guys midway has the small base dies on clearance that I'll go ahead and pick up! Thanks for all the info guys!!
