Man that sucks sorry to hear that. Good news is that it probably didn't do any major damage. Drain the diesel and put a new fuel filter on it and you should be ok. What kind of car/engine is it?

The guy, says your at least the 5th car that has broken down this morning after getting gas at that station.

Was it diesel or just bad gas? If diesel I'd think every car would have stopped. Either way, that sucks for the hassle, but should be as simple as drain and refill.

It probably threw a few trouble codes when it died but I doubt it did any serious harm. New cars have a lot of electronic witchcraft though, especially on the emissions systems.

I don't see a long term problem, but I believe the gas station is going to try and bull**** it's way out of it. I also have to get back down to Gainesville FLORIDA to get it, nevermind the rental cost

You can find out online who owns that Chevron franchise. I would also contact Chevron corporate office, in case they are the ones who contract the gas tankers. One way or another the more noise you make, the more someone will address it.
