disasembling ruger mark 3

i bought a ruger mark 3 22 pistol and it seems well built and nice,

the bad news is i wanted to clean it before shooting it
1) i pulled out he hammer strut lever with paper clip and pulled it out in a handle shape
2)i went to pull the pin out it's attached to(pulling down so as to remove the bolt) and nothing it wouldn't come out
3) i placed the hammer sturt back where it was before i started and now the back round part can only pull back less then 1/2 inch thus making the pistol not functional

i guess the basic rule of ruger mark 3 is never to disassemble it but i disobeyed so please help

i think i forget to deck the hammer before starting

You have the get the leg of the hammer back on the mainspring cup. Its like playing ball in cup, but with a gun and you cant see what you are doing

instead of dmaging my ruger mark 3 i have decide ot let the fine folks at hi-claiber clean and assemble/disassemble it for me using the parts i finally got apart but cant get back together. then i am never takign it apart ever again

why did ruger make it s hard?

The first time or two it's a pain. Once you learn the proper way and proper steps (which have to be done in order) it's not all that bad.

right now its in 3 peices and i already scratched the frame on the back so not going to do anymore, a simple cleaning of the barrel with a bore snake and that as far as it gets after it gets put back together
