- Band saw or small hack saw to cut kydex into desired shape

Kydex sheet was 12"x6" but i only needed 6"x6" so i used a razor to cut the kydex a few times then had to bend it to break apart. I only used a 6"x6" sheet of kydex bc i cut a 6x6 sheet of paper and placed it on the gun for practice so i'd advise you to try that method before cutting and heating up your kydex
