Don't be ignorant. Why do you think the "SHERIFF" in town is always called the "SHERIFF"........it is his town! Just saying!

I always carry my laminated permit and always hand it over to an officer with my driver's license when I am pulled over, if I am carrying, or have a rifle .....which that hasn't happened in afew years (Knock on wood)!

Remember 52% of the population are left-leaners (% that voted for Obama) and do not respect or uphold the constitution!

i thought the most that could happen is them tell him to leave less he wants a trespass charge

Not in Bama I lived there for 25yrs. Open carry is fine with certain stipulations but even if it is covered for a second it is concealed, and subject to permit requirements. Like I said I hate ANY and ALL restirctions on the right to carry.

you should send this to the email address for the NRA group organizer that is named on the poster you posted on here....all.american.pawn.of.eufala@gmail.com and see what they have to say about this....in fact, I just sent the link to this post to them :)

update, that emial addy bounced so I called all american pawn, the FFL doing the transfers at that event and they gave me the following e-mail for the sponsor of Friends of NRA in Eufala...that is lefnra@gmail.com

I sent the following...

I thought you might be interested in this recent event that happened to a friend of mine while passing though Eufala recently. They stopped at Phils, well...you can read the rest at the link. It's ironic that a sponsor or supporter of Friends of NRA would call the police because someone was open carrying in their restaurant.
