According to this website: http://www.alabamaopencarry.com/index-2.html

Current Alabama Law Prohibits Open Carry In These Locations:

1. At a public Demonstration see Section 13A-11-59

2. In a vehicle. Upon entering a vehicle you must have a concealed carry permit.

3. Where it is posted that firearms are not allowed. Even if the sign is unlawfull, they have the right to ask you to leave thier property. If you refuse you could be charged with tresspassing.

How do you interpret #2?
Officers informed me that in Alabama, a vehicle is considered carrying concealed. I told him the difference in Ga.
And I do know about BOS. So does my gf. I think she just misstated that part. I don't do bos but if another party insists, I guess it just depends on the piece and how much I need it.
But if you want to beat a lady up for not saying the right thing under a little stress, then go right ahead. She won't be phased by it and if it makes anyone feel better, have at it.

I appreciate that you were doing your best not to further piss off the bulldog. But I would have been VERY tempted to point out that if your b/f was carrying concealed, how is it that the restaurant staff saw it?
Exactly what I said. It was OC. Caught me coming out the crapper in a hurry because I thought another guy needed in because he knocked. Would've cleared my tshirt otherwise. Stupidity really is all that is the crime here.

When i working for a traveling crew after high school i spent about a month in Eufaula working near there at the MeadWestvaco mill. I didnt have an issue while i was there of course i was 18 and cudnt of carried in any way shape or form legally but its a beautiful lil town and i didnt eat at that bbq place there is another one up the road from the Village Inn on the left if ur coming from town that was freaking awesome. Hate you had to deal with that that cop was the asshole for sure. But over Eufaula is a great place to visit not much to do but great fishing.

cape San Blas is a great spot! We go thru Eufala once or twice a year on the way to St George. We long ago gave up on great food in Eufala. The Hardies south of Dothan has become our normal stop. it appears that carrying concealed and having your GA carry license in your possession would have made for a more lawful and less stressful trip. Last year we came up thru Bainbridge and ate at some small town BBQ joint south of Columbus. We were panhandled on the way in and having the ruger ready in the pocket was comforting as I advised the local Bammite that I was not interested.

Can you provide a link to where you can carry openly or concealed in AL without a permit? I have a pdf copy of the code and I can't find it.
