In my family we were taught responsibility at an early age. My father never had to question what firearm I was carrying because of some "legal" requirement. This was because his requirement had long since been met and the ramifications with the local PD didn't worry him because he knew, as well as myself, that his punishment for my doing something careless would be very severe for me. I have been in love with firearms since I have memories. By the time I purchased my first car at 14 I had already bought, traded and sold more pistols, rifles and shotguns than would fill a truck bed.
