"Do you have a carry permit I can check?"

bro for real. your missing the point. like 3 different people have told youth some credibility or a carry permit goes a long way.... some reservation on deals may be held until you get either or both. and being a liberal (no offense) you probably don't fully understand the gun community around here or at least it seems that way. welcome to the trader either way.

Yep, the deal is happening tomorrow and I will not have it then. I don't think the seller is going to require any of that.

In the future, I definately will look into getting one.

Just in my family - My uncle is a huge hunter, lives up in the mountains with hunting property. I shoot and cleaned my first deer with him when I was a kid. Another uncle (by marriage) is actually in the gun biz here in GA. He gave me my first 357 Mag revolver. He pretty much has gun armory at his house with 3 full safes and 10 of thousands of rounds of ammo. He goes to shoot competitions and sometimes competes. I've consulted him on my first 2 purchases, the the ar-15 and .45 tactical handgun. Both uncles are about as far from liberal as you can get but we get along just fine. I did have to stop following them on myspace though.

So I haven't been heavily involved in the gun community, but I still know people in the gun community.

Hope I'll have a green #1 in my signature by tomorrow. Thanks for everyones help.

Thanks Horsehat. First time posting here besides some DMs with members. Mods in all my online communities love me. I'm not being facetious. I spur discussion but am not a troll and respect governance of that discussion (mods) and individual thoughts and opinions (posters). Regulated Freedom!

To answer you question, I am liberal when considering US politics, but many of them probably think some of my ideas are crazy (e.g. protection of the 1st and 2nd amendments, fiscal responsibility of government). In fact I know they do because they tell me so. It is a crazy idea, but I like to take the best of all forms of government and mash them all together if we could. But I am not libertarian, because I believe in a overseeing government regulating important parts of our lives. What they oversee and how they oversee it, I agree with some liberation views. I'm truly as independent as you can be given the 2 party, first past the post, "representative" government we have today.

I'd like to think I can have a civil discussion with almost any political walk of life. If if all that discussion really contains is them spouting off their beliefs .... I have no problem sitting back, shutting up, and asking questions.

I hope you may reconsider selling to liberal. They are clearly on your side when it comes to 2A, and this liberal will have your back when SHTF.

PS - it is probably not smart to discuss politics here, is it? Can I get a go Dawgs?

Have you ever seen a movie called spies like us? Funn Movie and ironically named don’t mess with our place. Too risky to interact on here with the enemy fellas. Just saying repent and claim a new way of thinking and maybe
