Do your wives think its crazy for you to carry a gun daily

My wife likes to shoot at the range but does not carry. She doesn't usually give the "eye roll" about carrying but just today she told me how "redneck" I am for keeping all the guns and ammo around. Good thing she can't see what I don't keep in the house!

It has worked for us to keep seperate accounts/credit cards , as it has for Blk08rockerc and Inthegarge. Lot less hassle, almost no downside.

My wife is all for my carry, except when we go out and have to dress up. Funny thing is she never notices when I carry untill she feels it, thens she's ok with it....!???

All the home invasions in the news the past few months definitely got my wifes attention. She actually told me the other day to bring a couple more up from the safe, just in case. She also said that if I wanted to keep one of the "big guns" on me instead of my NAA pocket pistol she wouldn't mind.

Another one here with separate accounts at different banks. I had to do it after she had our first kid 13 years ago and stopped working. She's one of those people that believes if there's money in the account it should be spent.

I also keep a separate gun/hunting/dirtbike/mountainbike account. That way I don't have to worry about where the money came from if I want to buy a toy.

I purchased another firearm today. The wife asked."How many guns can you buy and shoot." I told her "As many as you let me buy , I'll shoot" She then said it would be cheaper if I had a girlfriend on the side. Rather than buying guns. I told her my girlfriend don't like guns.OOPPPs Not really. She has a nice S&W 642,she does not understand why I keep adding to the safe.

My wife and I both got new pistols a few month's ago. It was her first handgun and my third. I think she wants to catch up with me because I got a head start. She's looking at a SR9c now.

I carry IWB all the time. All the benefits of having a gun on you plus one I didn't expect. Having a gun IWB holds my pants up better than any belt. lol

My wife understands that if I am dressed, I have a gun in my pocket. If I not dressed (I know , bad image), then it is within arms reach. She has never said anything about it. As far as the toys I buy, its like this. I don't regularly but clothes, shoes, pocketbooks, and etc. When I buy something it is because I need it, not just want it. When I buy guns and such, there is not much she can say when I remind her to go look in the closet and such at what she buys. BTW Separate accounts, with $ transferred to her each month to cover some of the bills and such.

I get the eye rolling and "why do you need that" but it is nice to always be prepared. There are times she has no clue I am carrying until she feels it on me and then thinks I am crazy...haha.

I got her a S&W 442 .38 special and that is the only gun she is comfortable with.

Mine thinks I'm just paranoid. But anytime we've had some strange noise around the house, she's asking if I have my gun. LOL
