That was my go-to LGS back in the day. Was always fun to go look at all those guns in the back room. IIRC, they sold just about everything else you needed in a household too. Not sure when they closed but I'd love to go back there just one more time.

Does anyone remember Wilson's in Lavonia back in the 80's?

Saw an ad in the Atlanta Journal in guns from Wilsons. Bought my first Mini 14 there with xtra mags and ammo for $180 out the door. Called them, rode up there and it was waiting for me. Late 70s 181 series

I worked there Saturdays for couple years before Mr Wilson sold out ! I started buying guns from them in about 1974 . I believe Mr Wilson is still alive, been several years since I talked with him.
Definitely remember Wilson’s in Lavonia. My first real deer rifle came from there around 1972 which was a Remington 742 - 30.06 As i remember, it was around $140.00 out the door with a box of ammo. I no longer have this rifle but still have the serial number memorized.
