I know this question comes up every now and then and most answers are based on speculation. Well the truthful answer is yes, they watch what goes on here. A few weeks ago I received a call from a ATF agent here in the Metro Atlanta area. Someone they had in custody was purchasing pistols on this site and doing illegal things with them. I didn't directly sell this individual a firearm but I was in the chain of custody. I bought it, sold it to another ODT member, they sold it, it was sold again, etc... Finally, it's reached the guy who had wrongful intentions. The ATF agent was very cool regarding the ODT. We talked about buying, selling, trading, etc.. Long story short, he's into guns and gets why people enjoy this site. They know that some people will use this site for the wrong reasons. Cover your butt and at least ask for a drivers license that shows state residence.
