I agree with you about Iams for the most part. However their new Healthy Naturals Chicken is actually pretty decent and graded out pretty good by the dog food websites. Im not driving out of my way and paying a bunch more for BB.
If your vet has already checked your dog to make sure there is nothing medically wrong then I would feed him River Run.
I have been feeding my pitbull mixes River Run brand dog food for several years. It is sold at most feed stores. Most of the dog hunters in this area feed this same food. 50lb bag is about $23. It's good quality food where the first ingredient is meat and not corn meal. I have tried taste of the wild as well and there was not enough moisture in the food which caused my english bulldog to be constipated. My dogs have not had any problems with River Run.
If you must buy Taste of The Wild for your dogs then I would go to a feed store to buy it because it's cheaper there. My local feed store is $10 cheaper for the same bag of Taste of the Wild sold at the Pet Supply store.

Might wanna have him checked for Babesiosis just to be safe.
If it is just being picky over food, get some Biljack in the frozen food section of the grocery story.
Best dog food there is.. Next time your at the store stop by and read the ingredents.

My dogs have all changed at about the 2 yr mark. They're out of the puppy/adolescent phase at that point. They're not as hyper, don't attack the food bowl as much, don't steal my shoes anymore... it may just be natural for him to think eating is routine now.
Dont buy Iams, eukanuba or any brand they make. They give money to breed specific legislation, IE banning pit bulls. If the vet says there is nothing wrong, the dog will not starve itsself. Just feed a good quality food like black gold or premium gold,, You can spend more for the same results if you want to. The dog will eat when it gets hungry. I have 5 dogs and they all go through spells. My Boston terrier specifically will go on a fast for two or three days when she gets table scraps but she does go back to eating.
go with blue buffalo. damn good stuff. never seen a dog turn it down.
I just started feeding my dogs Acana. The other food I fed them was recently recalled for salmonella contamination.
