I appreciate the offer. Im about to make another attempt now that he's had plenty of time to die. Part of my problem at the moment is obtaining permission to track on neighboring property. I've been trying to contact them with no luck. I'm fairly certain they won't mind, but I don't want the drama in case they do.
So many things that could be said in response to this situation. But, the only thing I will say is I sure hope you find it!
I found him. He doubled back and came right back by the spot where I shot him. I found fresh blood that wasn't there earlier. He ended up laying 15yds on the other side of where he went before after I shot him.
