Serious question for y’all out there. How many acres was the smallest field you have ever hunted with decent success?

Were i go is 5 acres dedicated dove field with hot wire to keep deer ,and hogs out. and a 200 yard installed power line that runs lenth of field.no telling what he spends yearly just blessed to be invited.i would estimate yesterday 5-700 birds.hopefully get 3-4 good shoots.we quit at 5 regardless if everyone limited so birds can feed with 7 shooters.only shoot mourning on last hunt. He uses round up ready sunflowers and doesn’t mow them. leaves them standing.with clean ground under them birds are pretty easy to find.we all stop at the limit,we all have outgrown the slaughter fest and bragging rights. (lol)

Ok I was just wondering, our field is about 1.5 acres and we compete with several larger and more established fields (they’ve been planting them for many of years) I think we did pretty dang good with 36 birds and should have had more 😂

He spent the night with papa last night up at 5:30 this am getting dressed we didn’t shoot until 2:00 and he was asleep before we got out of field.
