Dryfire-pulling to right as shot breaks.

Only moves one handed. With a two hand hold its uber stable. Oddly I dont seem to do this with a J frame.

Sounds like "Too Much Finger" on the TRIGGER--As a fellow Devotee of Messrs. Smith & Wesson's Revolvers, I, too, tend to do this with Semiautos UNLESS I remind myself CONSTANTLY...

Like you, with TWO HANDS, the Gun is usually ROCK STEADY, but the "Front Sight Twitch" will show up with ONE HAND if I am not paying attention & use my "Usual" DA Revolver Index Finger Position, which is with the CREASE of the last joint on the front outside corner of the Trigger...

For me to do my "Best Work" SHO or WHO with Semiautos, I hafta' REMEMBER to CENTER the last joint segment of my Trigger Finger on the Trigger...That, and VISUALIZING--And REALLY trying to pull the Trigger STRAIGHT TO THE REAR without imparting any sideways "Monkey-Motion" to it during the Pull/Press--THAT seems to be most helpful to me...Try it & see!...HTH....mikey357

This might help.

I believe this is relevant to right-handed people-just flip it for left:

did you put your whole finger in the trigger guard to pull the trigger? that is my problem, the tip of the finger should really be the only part into the trigger guard

Funny this should come up. I used to think this. I was able to spend some time with Andy Langley while in route to train the Swedish spec ops. and he was preaching putting as much finger in as you could get. I tried it and revolutionized my strong and week hand shooting. Problem is a 100% milk.
