Eastman Gun Show at the Savannah civic center

We just returned from the Eastman Gun Show at the Savannah civic center. The aisles were no more than 6-7 ft wide and it was very hard to actually look at anything. My wife asked one dealer where he was from and he said New York, (she was shocked by the prices he had on his guns and he was hard to understand "talked funny").

But the place was crowded and the dealers were selling guns. Not much FTF sales with the customers.

Hmmm...a dealer from NY? Perhaps one of my old Mayor's police undercover operatives looking to find "illicit" gun sales in the criminal's gun-locker known as Georgia? (you can't tell but my keyboard was dripping with sarcasm)

If a background check isn't required then it can't be illicit to not do one.

I will say one thing though, as a private citizen if someone with whom I was negotiating a handgun sale told me outright that he didn't think he could pass a background then I would not care to sell that person a gun. Just common sense IMHO.
