Problem is these people are just slapping two pieces of untoasted bread on a patty. The ultimate in white trash technologies.
A patty melt is completely different than making a delicious fatburger and then going "oh **** i got no buns...."
Kinda like a hamburger with no bun IS NOT a hamburger steak.

But for the second one I cut the banana in half lengthwise. Didn't want the fruit to overpower the flavor of PB&J.
