Electronic Earmuffs

I use the Pelto 6S Tactical's you can also pick up at Walmart. I think I paid 60.00 and they have directional mirophones so you can hear in stereo or turn a certain side down or off.

X3! I LOVE 'em! The Caldwell's, while PRICED attractively, have a VERY SLOW-W-W "Attack Time", or interval between when they SHUT OFF-for LOUD Noise--and Come BACK "On"...They MIGHT be "Okay" if you are the ONLY Person on the Range, but they will DRIVE YOU CRAZY on a busy Range, particularly if you try to carry on any kind of CONVERSATION while wearing 'em...I had a pair, and gave 'em away, as I couldn't STAND 'em...YMMV, of course...HTH....mikey357

Another vote for Howard Leight here. That is the only electronic set I have owned and am happy with them. They were around $60 at the LGS one day.

I have a pair. They work great with handguns. Rifle's, esp AR's and you'll need to have in plugs also. My Dillon set of e muffs are the best!!

Thanks man. I shoot a lot of .44MAG, 10mm, and .223 so I need something that's gonna provide as much hearing protection as possible but I want to be able to have a conversation without shouting at the person I'm talking to.

My caldwells do great with 44mag 223 270 and 300win mag. But im shooting in my back yard with the little range I have set up to my preference. So im not having to deal with other people shooting. I put it earplugs sometimes to cause of the crows when they are around since they amplify the sound and I hate crows with a passion. Its convient that its crow season right now they are playing hell with the .223 varminators.
