Eliminating Georgia's weapons "license" - For God's sake people, do it!

How come this isn't a forty page thread yet?

Some folks would rather just complain.

Or maybe they really don't care.

Or they're afraid if they contact their government they will be put on a "list".

C'mon folks, make our government represent us!

I just e mailed Chuck Martin district 49. I can't find an e mail address for Brandon Beach district 21. I will call and leave a message. How come this isn't a forty page thread yet?
Good question. In general, some people just don't think it will make a difference and yes others are just 'lazy' even for things as simple and presumably as important as this (I've been guilty on a variety of issues before.) The worst thing though is I do know a few people actually are NOT in favor of CC and not only like the fact we have to pay for a permission slip from the government for a Constitutionally protected right but would be quite pleased if we also had to take government sanctioned training in order to exercise it. There are obviously reps that feel the same way (hence why the HB60 was a 'fight' when it should have sailed through with little discussion).
If people on JUST this site were universally active, we'd dictate gun laws in the state.

I attended a B'day party Saturday. Representative Paulette Rakestraw from Dist 19 was there. I asked her about HB543. She didn't remember contents but when I said Georgia's Constitution Carry Bill she immediately responded by saying she carried and would vote for if and when it reached the floor. She currently serves as the State Representative for ... the Tea Party in Georgia. Need more like her representing our state.

IMO.........as individuals rather than group would make more of a impact.
