Ever make your own BHO mags for you ak?

I saw this on another site and was wondering if any if you guys had ever tried it or anything similar. The one in the pic is a Chinese mag, and the ones I've had do have followers that look a lot like yugo followers. Just wondering if anyone else had tried it. Also if snybody knew where to find some steel BHO followers. Thanks.

I ain't neither. The article said you could use a file, but I bet it would be a real pita.

Kinda pointless, once you remove the mag the bolt will just unlock. I don't see the benefit.

In case your bustin caps in a serious situation. I think I'd have a much better chance of feeling the bolt not slam forward than keeping up with how many rounds I've shot.

Tracers man. All my ak mags have 3 tracers as the last 3 rounds. See red, reload or your dead.

A good alternative. By the time I've went through a mag at even suppressive ranges my position is probably common knowledge anyways. I may have a better chance of finding a rare follower than some 7.62 tracers right now though. Lol.
