It wasn't bad they deff went a different route then the original but I really enjoyed the new one to. I'm also a huge fan of the the evil dead series,

Cabin in the woods was actually better. Maybe I was just expecting too much of it, there we're moments but overall it just didn't make the grade with me.

Cabin In the woods was just epic and made so many horror movies make sense

It was meh at best. Was looking forward to it but it fell flat.
