Factory Five 33 Hot Rod

Now that I've fired the engine, I made a punch list to make it drivable. So far I've added fuel and loctited every set screw and fastener in the steering assembly. Since I'm off today hopefully I can get most of it done. Picked up some parts from Summit last night but still need a few more unless Napa has what I need this morning.

Boz you have to get of video of it taking its first steps!

Hopefully I can talk my wife into that, she's not a fan of the noise. Tested it in the air today, seemed the only problem was the clutch. I adjusted it but it was getting late so I decided not to fire the beast back up.

What a awesome thread. I can't believe I missed it for so long. Nice car man.

Thanks !!

Since I started the engine I decided to make a punch list to make it go-kartable. I gave up on FF and went to Summit and picked up the radiator hose adapters and some discontinued billet hose end covers from Mr Gasket. They were only 7.00 each. Installed the radiator hoses, filled the trans with fluid, bled the brakes, and finally installed the throttle linkage. Waiting on some rod ends from Jegs to dress up the linkage. I used some stuff leftover to make it function for now. Thought my steering wheel would arrive today but no such luck. Car is loud but when I get the wheel I should be able to kart this baby

Got my steering wheel yesterday, looks better in person than I expected. Finally think I got the electric fan problem solved. Had two issues, one with the relay and one with a dumbass mistake on sending units. Yes the temp sending unit and the cooling fan switch look very similar in case you want to know.
