I was curious to know if anyone on the ODT has any experience making a knife from a farriers rasp? I would be interested in purchasing one to use as an EDC/work knife. I don't know why but I seriously like the look of a knife made from a file/rasp, I just want to get it form someone that knows how to heat treat the knife to make it usable and durable. I am looking for something kind of like this but with more of a 'working' type handle:
