Favorite GA State Park for camping ??

And several rest stops have dump stations. I camp in national forest most of the time. Ill pay for the yearly pass or the parking fee at Ga State Parks to use the dump station. Did it at the house a few times . Not a pleasant task.
All the parks are nice and gonna be better than most Private R.V. parks. Don't know bout winter closure. Just a couple days for a check out trip is understandable but any longer I would head south
Do they let you dump if not camping?

Vogel is nice and clean. Helton Creek is fun to hike with a water fall pool on the top of the hiking trail and a small wading/sitting area at the bottom. You can even slide down the rapids on the lower end, but I wouldn't do it this time of year, its cold in the dead of summer.

My favorite is George L. Smith outside of Metter. We have never had a bad time there. Canoe and kayak right from your camping spot. Really fun to hike through the tortoise habitat. You will likely see some cruising around.
