I work p/t at a dealer and the Nics system was on the glitch today. We were having to call 50-60 times to get through. We most likely lost sales because of it.

Stopped in at Wally World to pick up a few things... There was wailing and gnashing of teeth over the system being down. Funny thing, last weekend the bulk of inquiries called in were "Delayed"... Humm

A few years ago I went to Academy for one of their black Friday pistol deals... the background check system didn't start taking calls for a couple of hours after the store opened (don't recall the exact times, but I think Academy opened at 5am that day).

That was one of the reasons I decided to go ahead and get the permit. Those guys could buy without the phone call.
