Fence advise? (Sharpen your benchmades...) :-)

I am buying a home in Gainesville, that will need a fence installed, to keep my dog (i.e., "my boy") safe.
I am opening myself up for all kinds of slashing, but me, being me, would like to see if anyone here installs chain link and/or privacy fencing in that area and could give me some advise.

I used to have a fence biz. Advice; Don`t do it yourself. It ain`t as easy as you may think. Don`t use prefab panels if you want wood. It`s almost impossible to make them look good unless the terrain is perfectly flat. Don`t try to use chain link that has been used before. Don`t hire anyone without looking at some of his work and talking to the customer that paid him. This is important.
