Finally finished with AMD-65

Before I hear from the "Keep that crap off of my AK" crowd, I put this rifle together for a specific reason. I've mentioned here before that I was blinded in my right eye several years ago in a work accident. For years I've practiced shooting left handed, but it never became natural and I couldn't transition from shoulder to shoulder. Last year I tried a Draco AK pistol and a single point sling, and although stable during slow fire, it bounced around too much during rapid. A few months back, someone here at the ODT mentioned that Centerfire Systems had Hungarian AMD-65s for a good price and I thought "That might work." A couple of days later I picked it up from Chris at Semper Fi Arms, shouldered on my right shoulder and my left eye lined up with the sights. I couldn't help but smile, for the first time in 11 years I was shooting right handed again. Next day I shot 200 rounds. Double tap on the right, transition, double tap on the left, transition. No failures of any kind, so I decided to add stuff. Really, my only complaint is the cheap finish that scratches easily.

Primary Weapons Systems FSC-47 muzzle brake
CNC Warrior 4" barrel extension (welded on to make 16 1/2" barrel)

Tech-sights with aperture inserts (almost doubles the sight radius)
Modified safety lever with bolt hold open and tab spot welded on for trigger finger manipulation
G2 Trigger assembly
Tapco 20 rd mag (for 922r compliance)
Hogue grip with battery storage compartment
3/8" gas tube wrapped with paracord on stock
