Killed with a Knight LK93 50 cal converted to use 209 primers. 2 pyrodex pellets with a 295 gr Powerbelt bullet. Buck came into the food plot alone about 6:00 pm yesterday afternoon. 50 yard shot behind the shoulder and that was that. He ran a little ways . Did not get a complete pass thru so blood trail was sketchy at first but got better as he went. He found the worst briar patch in the middle of 160 acres of planted pines to die. Of course the drag was uphill over terrace beds. Called the Brother-in-law for help and got his voicemail. Eventually got him out and dressed...on ice.

We tracked one late last nite for about 3 hours an never did find it ;(
Cuzzin shot it with an Encore .50 cal ...but made a bad shot ;(
Sure he was yote food by daybreak ,as many yotes as we have round here trollin ....
