Hello all! Wanted to show off my build to a bunch of Gents who can appreciate my Carry gun build, now that it's done.

Warning: Old school gunsmithing("Gunsmithing") in the thread. Nice berettas getting their parts blended up to make the ultimate Duty/carry/Comp gun, back the way we used to do it before plastic took over and guns became products not weapons. Squeamish have been warned.

Why the sword Motif: It's a very long circular homage to a bunch of things. Resident Evil's Samurai Edge, Langdon's Involvement in making this thing in the first place, as well as my choice to go off the beaten path(Ronin) of what most people do when they find a 92G Elite: Turn it into a Samurai Edge Replica. I didn't want to do that. I had something else in mind. And I am a huge nerd. Sue me.

Broadsword: Italian 92A1(Bought during the 2020 panic, must have slipped through because it came with a metric threaded barrel, left hand) frame, on an Original 2001-2004 92G Brigadier Elite. The Brig Elite's barrel was pulled and put on The 1992 Inox. That one's the Tanto(As pictured, for when I need to pretend like I have nice things). That one is a 1992(BB) Italian Inox, original except for that factory match barrel. Put it there to save it. Replaced the barrel with an easily replaceable, dime a dozen stock 92FS barrel, because when I shoot out the first barrel, I don't want it to cost a lot. STeel guide rod, Wilson combat mag funnel, skeletonized hammer(Came from the Elite frame), Extended Mag release(Came from the Brig frame), and Trijicon Night sights, front and rear, X300, carried in a Philster Floodlight(love it.)

This gun weighs 3 lbs. 3.125 lbs to be exact. Recoil? What recoil.

Trigger tuned, by me, for me, using a wolff spring kit, patience, old AGI videos, new LTT videos, and books. So. Many. Old. Books. Combat tune. Smooth. Light, Good reset, not feather light/hyper short reset like the LTT. This is a Self defense gun after all.

No dot cause that's not my thing, it doesn't work with my eyes, and I can already hit at +30 meters with this baby.

Longsword: The rest of the first gun. The 92A1's parts + a 92FS parts kit, to make a secondary gun with the same trigger job, same mag release and skeletonized hammer, and same grips, as the broadsword. The 92G's frame has a chamfer cut for the magwell, as well as a flat mainspring housing, so this "Regular 92FS", ain't regular.

Tanto: The 'nice' carry gun. Also has the same trigger job.

Thanks' for coming to my TED talk! 🍈

Very nice! Love the 92 platform, one of my favorite DA/SA’s.
It's kinda funny how I ended up here. I wanted a platform that was gunsmithable without a degree in physics, 9mm, good mag base, proven duty history, still available and supported by the parent company, that is a known product, metal framed, DA/SA

That left two guns. CZ and Beretta.

And John Mclain, nor the GWOT-era boys this gun is built for, didn't kill no Terroist with no damn CZ.

I carried and shot Berettas for years, when my issued duty gun was a DA/SA.

You ever think about building yourself something like the bohemoth of a handgun I built? I'm no beretta salesman(I'd be eatiang better if they paid me), but they haven't abandoned the platform at all. Infact I think the ending of the contract allowed them to fully experiment with the thing, like the new GTS single action stuff. If you've shot the standard 92FS, you have to try a brigadier. It's like night and day. That heavy slide stops recoil in it's tracks. It's insane with 115 grain.

I built a Brigadier “G” railed and a Compact railed, using mostly Wilson Combat parts. I ran the Brigadier in the classes I teach, and used the Compact as my off-duty carry.
