Firearms prohibited at ALL Costco stores per corporate policy

While I agree w/ trying to avoid supporting businesses that are anti-2nd Amend., I prefer to avoid the drama & carry a full size gun more discreetly to avoid these kind of issues.

Costco is now another store with a no guns policy, which means I can shop there safely without any worries. /sarcasm.

When will the idiots realize that criminals will not ask for permission or to see their store policy before entering? The only place I'm disarming myself for is when I'm about to enter a federal building, after all concealed is concealed.

Yes sir!

Oh cool, now I won't get a Costco membership, I was going to... now I will have to look elsewhere for when I move into my house.

You may or may not have heard of Erik Scott, shot outside of Costco by police after an employee called and said there was an armed man in the store. Please read and avoid Costco. http://pjmedia.com/blog/gunned-down-in-vegas-what-really-happened-to-erik-scott/

While I feel for this guys family he did make one ill fated mistake, "When asked to leave he should have left. In the State of Georgia the Laws are clear for Concealed Carry, it states that when asked to leave a business or establishment to do so and to do so politely" I don't know what the CWP Laws are in Nevada but he just should have left. While the police were plainly at fault and the scene commander obviously was not in command Erik should have just agreed to leave, gone out to his car and remove his gun or gotten his girl friend and just left. I am not justifying anyone's actions but it could have been avoided.

I do hope they sue the crap out of that police department and all officers involved including Costco for exaggerating and escalating a simple matter that could have been handled more professionally than it was.

BTW: I spoke to Megan Davis at Costco and she gave me her email and said she would forward my email to the Corporate VP so, here is her email address: megan.davis@costco.com

BJs membership boyee!! We should start a "DO NOT SHOP" thread and sticky it, eh mods?

Tuesday morning says no firearms so I won't let my wife buy her smell good candles there anymore!

I participate in another forum that has both a thread for gun friendly and anti gun businesses for the members to share the info. I do not spend my money in anti gun establishments. Guess its BJ's and Sam's.

Sam's Club for me. As a small business owner, I was thinking about Costco since I like some of the product lines they carry, but will now NOT get a membership there since they aren't willing to support my 2nd Ammendment rights to carry a firearm.

I would encourage you to call the regional office and let them know that. I love Costco but I cannot and will not support a business that does not support 2A if I can help it.

Negative... No signs, nothing about it in the membership packet... I double checked

You gotta pay to be a member? Can you say refund.
