First bow kill (potentially)

Had a spike come in to a shoestring scent deal shot was 15-20 yards. Here's a pic of my arrow. Didn't hear a crash what does this type of blood indicate about hit? He was moving slow leaving. Thanks and happy thanksgiving.

Nock another arrow and sit tight until 11. Great possibility more deer will come by. You don't want to bump that spike if he's bedded down to die. Been there and learned my lesson.

Looks like good blood and a pass through I assume. So just sit tight and give him time. He could have just layed down instead of crashing. You did say he was moving slowly. I just killed my first deer with a bow last sat afternoon and it was a spike as well
