IMHO -
I have owned countless pistols over the past 20 years or so, wheel guns, semit-automatics, pocket pistols, ...everything from a Taurus 454 casull to a Kimber Custom eclipse II. Over the past 35 years I have logged quite a bit of time at the range and in doing so I have become opinionated on different weapons. All of this being said, I recently traded into a very nice Sig 226 Tac Ops. After three weeks I finally had the opportunity to take it to the range yesterday, I am seriously impressed. I have never been a huge fan of 9mm ammo but it's pretty difficult to ignore a 20+1 capacity. The weapon shoots like a dream! I really like the SRT (short reset trigger) and the trigger pull is smooth as butter. I will admit, with a 9mm the target acquisition time is very short between shots - double taps center mass were very easy at 20 yards.
FWIW, if you have the opportunity to trade into one I highly recommend it!
