First time flying since early March 2020

I’ve flown many times during the shenanigans. Charlotte’s airport is near as packed ever, at least in the E terminal. Busy airports still seem pretty busy. If a major hub isn’t crowded, I am thinking it has more to do with flying during off times. Many business travelers never stopped traveling.

I flew to RDU on Tuesday , flying back today.
Airports are strangely empty.
SkyClub had 4 people when I entered today.

It’s great to be back to somewhat normal.
2019 I flew 40 weeks or so.

I get my 2nd Booster Shot ( Covid-19) on Friday. After, that it's time to fly to go see my 2 Grand kids, I have never spent time with, since they were born.

I arrived at the ATL airport at 630 Tuesday AM. Flight was 8 AM

Very limited # os people, four people in TSA Precheck. Flight back today was “full” middle seats open, half of First was empty. Excellent service overall!

Glad to be back in the air.

I have 1.75 million (cumulative miles with Delta - not frequent flyer miles but actual miles flown)

Just wait until you get in an automobile...
at least an airplane has a professional behind the
stick and someone doing regular maintenance.
Yep you're right that's the least they have.
One guy doing all the maintenance ain't easy.
Are a lot of numbskulls on the road and see plenty with
burned out lights and under inflated or worn out tires.
Good warning signs to other drivers (if they're paying attn)
to be on the alert. Safe travels to all up there or down here.
Speaking of professional pilots......

The entry/exit point for the bathrooms on the concourse get very crowed. You can't help but be face to face with people there. My American flights were full but they were hard core about keeping masks on.
