We are headed out on the 20th to crittenden Kentucky for a hunt. I've had buddies that's went here in the past and shot some good ones. Any advice for a new Kentucky hunter? I've hunted in Georgia since I could walk so I imagine things are gonna be a little different. I more excited just for the experience and being there

I know two brothers that have been going for a long time and I have not heard them say they hunt any different than here but maybe the area is similar i really don’t know. I do know they sit all day ( blinds and climbers) but I think it’s because of limited time that they have
If your hunting field edges the 1 hour at and after daylight and before dark are magic hours just like here, just carry a set of binoculars and stay on them during these times. Most places out there want you to stay out of the woods.. Good Luck!
I was trying to make a trip there this year but didn’t work out. Good luck hopefully I’ll get to do a hunt up there one day as well. Only advice I have is sent control. High pressure areas with more hunters it becomes even more important. Esp for a good mature buck
