Fishermen, most important thing to do before fishing??

Fishing license (SIP, trout stamp)
Go to bathroom
Pack food and drink (high calorie, low weight, non-perishable), water.
Pack small first aid kit - tweezers, nail clippers, Benadryl, Betadine, waterproof bandaids, gauze, tape, aspirin, eye drops, tourniquet, quilt clot.
Pack small tool kit - scissors, knife, electrical tape, wire cutters, needle nose pliers.
Pack TP, whistle, headlamp,.laser pointer, bug spray.
Have towels, change of clothes and footwear in car. Mote water and food, too.
Go to bathroom

We think very differently about fishing.
If you’re going in a boat make sure you have some kind of bale bucket! That’s what a friend told me.
Honestly, check the weather because lightning on water is bad news and can get you killed. You can get by with just the basics if you want to have fun. One of the most fun days was trying to catch the smallest fish with my youngest brother. Anyone can catch a big fish

Just go fishing! Rod, reel, lures or bait is all you need.
