FL LEOs shoot unarmed 60yr old man! Wounded him and the two cops screwed up.

You missed the point, this was an UNARMED MAN and did not threaten anyone! Unless you see a gun you should not be allowed to shoot!

I'm not commenting on this particular case. What I'm pointing out is that it is NOT necessary to see a gun. Are you saying that if a mugger has his hand in a coat pocket and says "Give me your money or I'll shoot you" that you can't kill him in self defense? After all, you don't see a gun.

BS someone has to be armed. You don't have to wait for someone to go back to their car and get a gun in their hands before shooting. Also, SCOTUS has said the shooting MUST be viewed from the point of view of the officers at that point in time... not a day later, not even a minute later.

The shooting may be justified, it may not, who freakin knows.

Also old people will kill the **** out of you just as quick as young people.

"Furtive movement" is the definition by the court I believe. Can't really comment on the situation but yeah it's sad when someone gets shot by accident, worse yet when those involved lie, toss a throw away gun in the mix and attempt to cover it up (the Atlanta Grandmother killed).

Furtive movement is a defense for both non-LEO and LEO if one reasonably believes another has a weapon and they are in danger. I explained it to my son; "Son if LEO pulls you over, don't reach around and grab your wallet in a manner that could get you shot". Think about perception and it's implication.
