Flashhider/Muzzle Brake for SKS?

I have a Norinco SKS (7.62x39) that is threaded 1/2 x 28. Can I put a A2 flash hider on it or would that only work with a .22 caliber Everything I’m looking at that is threaded 1/2 x 28 seems to be for .22 caliber barrels only.

Go to CNC warrior they have a large selection of muzzle devices for 7.62 that are threaded 1/2X28 for threading turned down AK barrels
