Flat Creek PFA

I was certain I asked this before but could not find it. Has anyone fished at flat creek outside of Perry? I read that its a no wake lake. If you have fished there wht should I expect and do you have any tips?
My son likes go fish for bass and I enjoy everything from bream to bass to cat.

CAMSDADDY yes, my boy and I fished it once last Spring. Enjoyed watching the gators and birds, caught no fish in an afternoon of paddling in our yaks and fishing. Catfish, bass, brim all stocked in it. Just wasn't our day.

But if you've time hit the GO FISH EDUCATION CENTER just around the corner. Plan to spend 2 hours there for sure if you all enjoy all things fishing. We have gone back twice wince our first visit.

You might want to check out the Mennonite lake in Macon county it’s been years since I’ve been,don’t even know if it’s still open here is the address.

We just bought an 18’ Jon boat and are just looking for places. I’ve always fished small private ponds from the bank or a small jon. We have been spoiled by a friends pond that they are almost trained to hook themselves.

Congrats visit some of the big lakes Sinclair oconee and blackshear just try to avoid weekends and the big open water when busy them wave boats are the devil.ou can find boat ramps off the areas of the big water.

We went this morning and didn't get a bite. We trolled around and threw jigs as well as beetle spins and also artificial worms on a bass pole. We intended to use worms Under a cork but I forgot to check the worms that were great.least week and mush this morning. spoke with a couple who said they had great luck with bream on worms
The place as a whole is nice. The ramp is wide wide. The is a lot of place to fish from the dock or bank.
We will go back. Will bring worms. It got hot fast.

Welcome to Flat Creek PFA fishing. LOL. If you get hot their landing good fish buy a lotto ticket. That PFA is a tough nut to crack.

You'll have fun with the boat as long as you don't have mechanical problems with it. I fished from the bank in my younger years. I got a boat after I'd been married a little while. A lot easier fishing from a boat
