Beats me. I didn’t make it… but some people believe that stars are angels so I guess that one possibility. If the earth is flat, how does anything revolve around it?
My Christmas tree isn't flat.Same way your electric train runs around the Christmas tree.
Dunno, but with a mirror and a little privacy, you can see Uranus anytime. My Christmas tree isn't flat.
But the train does run around the living room floor.
So, if you closely enough, you can see the sun at night?
This is not true. Modern physics tells us the universe is NOT infinite, and there is a finite number of stars; just lots of them.In the round earth model space is infinite and we are being drug around by the sun at speeds faster than most people can comprehend. Infinite planets, stars and the possibilities of life.
Which one sounds more like the Bible to you? Several times the Bible mentions stars falling to the Earth. In Joshua the sun stops in the sky and even reverses itself. Read your bible and think for yourself. Remember god calls the wisdom of man foolishness. So be careful who you listen to…Yes that includes me too
lolwhereThis is not true. Modern physics tells us the universe is NOT infinite, and there is a finite number of stars; just lots of them.
The universe was smaller at some point in the past and is currently expanding, and the rate of expansion is increasing (proven by Hubble when observed the doppler shift in stars). Some hypothesize that if it is expanding now, then at some point it was infinitely small (Big Bang Theory), but there is no proof of this, just a theory. Observation showing that the rate of expansion is increasing rules out the "bounce" theory, which theorized the universe collapses to a dot, explodes, collapses again, etc. It sure looks like this is the only time around for this universe.
The increasing rate of expansion means that at some point the stars will be moving away from us faster than the speed of light. About 94% of the stars in the universe are calculated to be expanding at that rate already. Because of this the light those stars emit after that point will never reach the Earth. The light we see to today left long before the relative velocities got that high, so we can still see it. But eventually we won't be able to any more.
"For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light..." Isiah 13:10
“ some hypothesis that IF it is expanding now” Doesn’t sound like they’re very confident in there theoryThis is not true. Modern physics tells us the universe is NOT infinite, and there is a finite number of stars; just lots of them.

In order to be infinite in size, the universe would have to be infinitely old.lolwhere
The "if it is expanding now.." was my text. I did not mean to imply that we're not sure it's expanding because we are. Hubble proved the universe is expanding through observation of the doppler shift of stars - they are all moving away from us. That was back when astronomers did astronomy through observation and not just theoretical mathematics.“ some hypothesis that IF it is expanding now” Doesn’t sound like they’re very confident in there theory
