I finally figured out how to turn that off and go to “normal” cruise control. In a Toyota, you just hold the cruise lever down, and it will eventually cycle to “normal” cruise control versus the radar/adaptive crap.

Yeah, I figured out how to disable it on my wife's car, it's just a pain that you have to do it EVERY SINGLE TIME!
