Today at Bass Pro I was looking at the guns when I saw a lady buying an FN Fiveseven. The employee who she was talking to said that she was lucky to be getting it because they will not be getting anymore in after that because they are now illegal. He also told her to buy any 5.7 ammo she saw anywhere because it is also being outlawed due to it being a "cop killer". I knew there were people who wanted it banned, especially after fort hood, but I didn't think that it was actually banned! I'm really hoping that the employee was misinformed, because I have always thought a fiveseven would be cool to have. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Ignorance lurks on every corner and the worst of it in regards to firearms usually resides inside the gun shops.
The employee was telling lies to get that lady to buy a boat load of ammo. He should be ashamed of himself.

yep, plus the ammo you buy there is not even the "cop killer" red box rounds anyway. That guy is stupid.

He bought his first handguns that day, a Sig 226 and 229 Equinox in 9mm. I was eyeballing Golden Sabers, he asked for a recommendation, I told him that the GSs were good for the price they had going. He then pushed his buggy up and emptied all of the 9mm GSs into the buggy...
I don't know what's worse, the things sales people say or the idiots that believe them.
