Anyone ever seen or have information on an engraved FN Hi power? I assume it’s a custom job but have never seen anything like it. Supposedly has Nazi Markings. What do you all think?

When the Germans overran Belgium in WW2, they took control of the FN factory and started producing P35s again. They were built with German proof marks which included swastika marks.

Given that they were in the middle of a war, I don't think that the production line would have spent time and effort on engraving, although I think it's quite likely that some of the recipients of the guns might have had a private cutomization job done on the gun either during or after the war.

The real 'tell' is finding the proof marks and any other marks associated with that serial number.

That's an interesting pistol. Looking through photos, I don't see that pattern popping up, so it seems the custom engraved part might be accurate. In for info.

Based on internet serial records (take it for what it's worth), your serial number puts it at a 1941 production year. Where did you find it? I would love to have it.

I was looking at working it in on a trade but have no idea on value etc just because it’s so different. Didn’t know if it’s a collector piece, shooter etc. Interesting though that it’s a 41’ model. Thanks
